Legacy Society

Members invest in the future of Metro State University and the next generation of students.

Legacy Society

Our 1971 Legacy Society recognizes donors who have provided for Metro State University Foundation in their estate plans. The name recognizes the visionaries who established the university in 1971 and ties them to the Society members whose gifts will impact future students and programs.

Planned gift options include:

  • Bequest in your will benefitting our organization
  • Naming Metro State University Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA or other investment
  • Charitable Remainder Trust, Unitrust, Annuity Trust or a Living Trust

Members of our society are presented with a signed certificate and a lapel pin. We also extend invitations to annual 1971 Society gatherings and other donor events.
